as of the date and time of the start of this entry, because of the current iraq war alone $116,786,868,656 has been spent.
that's BILLIONS (in the u.s., anyway)
personally, i can't help but think, what the hell does it mean?
it means that 39,695 subsidized homes in new york city weren't built.
it means 1,668 teachers in minneapolis-st. paul and 164,144 teachers in texas weren't hired. it means 18,839 children won't be able to attend preschools in milwaukee, 764,986 others won't have the chance in florida, either..
let's see, ...that's also 58, 841 scholarships to the state schoosl that aren't available in Maryland and 123, 800 scholarships lost in Onip..
601,367 children could have been immunized in Arizona and 924, 547 more could have gotten their shots in Colorado
we could have funded the WORLD WIDE aids epidemic for 11 years.
global hunger efforts, which we never seem to have funding for, would have had funding for 4 years.

i really want to release some agression.
the concept of guns doesn't work for me.
what i still want to do is want play oregon trail and kill off little boy bush, again. and again. and again.
rattle snake bite. dyptheria. malnurourishment. band of robbers. however i can pull it off; i want to do it.
maybe i'm just a tad bit morbid.

maybe i should just go see the damn reagan body and see what happens when i try to kick the coffin.
i really do want to go see it though.
