Sep. 16th, 2003 03:35 pmgawdaamn i love working for THE ORGANIZATION.
the same day they tell us what our severence packages are going to be, (well, some of us are being told today, some of us are waiting 2 days and thus dont yet know), they tell us they're going to utilize our services to help people during the impending hurricane!
so, even though they're kicking us to the curb in probably 70 days or so, we still get to lend a helping hand in the meantime.
boy, wow! i feel so honored! THE ORGANIZATION cares so much, this will certainly make headlines, again, and give THE ORGANIZATION great press, again. and we get to help them do this!
AND they're Letting us dress down .
amazing.

Date: 2003-09-17 12:12 am (UTC)see, it was sort of like, either sign it, and be out of a job, and then out of a place to live.
so they wouldn't so much be locking me up, as locking me out.
i wasn't so much ready for that.
but, i've actually developed a fondness for referring to my employer as THE ORGANIZATION.
