as i walk out the door to dine

i'm trying to fight what may or may not be a cold.
though, actually, last night, as i was trying to fall asleep, my throat was feeling a bit swelly and i was actually *hoping* it was a cold and not some sort of quasi-anaphylactic food allergy thing going on.
THAT WOULD BE BAD!! MUST EAT FOOD!
seriously though, i can't even 100% abstain from foods that i know can give me death-wish-level migraines.

Date: 2008-11-09 03:00 pm (UTC)i remain of the opinion i do not want to move into a bubble.
i don't know if i can think of any that will directly lead to death-wish level without other factors going on: empty stomach, not enough water, humidity change, periodicty, too much alcohol (without necessarily being drunken level)- foods in consideration: dairy (lol), artificial sweetener (hate hate hate), soy (meh), red wine (which i prefer, but concede), super processed lunch meat, including bacon (not much of a fan, anyway).
OD-ing on wheat give me morning congetion and citrus tends to lead to canker sores.
really, it's about maintaining moderation, which i know how to do. if i didn't go through phases when i'm hyper-aware of my body, i wouldn't even know the connection for most of these.
