hillary clinton sent me a donor card today.
i have not now, nor have i ever, directly donated money to a clintonian campaign.

apparently, she’s republican enemy number 1.

I don't know how you feel about Hillary Clinton's record in general, so I can't advise you whether to enclose a check.

Oh, wait, I guess I can: the Democratic Party has been pissing me off lately -- send back a note in the envelope saying you're waiting to send money till you find out whether they've grown a spine.

My mom used to laminate quarters to index cards listing our contact info - that way we had pay phone change and phone numbers to call if we got lost. (I'm not sure whether she knew about collect numbers.)
