would somebody please tell me what the point of sanctions are again?
ok, i know they're for passively-aggressively manipulating other countries to play the game according to el presidente. because, somehow , by not letting the everyday citizens have what they need, then the people in charge who have the power/money to get what they themselves need anyway will buckle and cave in.
um, right.
and how come i don't know the names of any of the newly freed pow's; but i not only knew jessica lynch's name, but also that she was white, pretty, blonde, and formerly unemployed, even before she was "rescued". (i'm actually quasi-surprised they tossed that last one in.)
why is it 'news' that the pow's weren't treated like kings? uh, hello, can we say "terrorist suspects" - who aren't even soldiers. . .
what ever happened to The Anthrax?
why am i still surprised by the lack of freedom here? this place has never ever been a country of freedom.
and, finally, why do i Insist on torturing myself by reading drivel like this?
