once again, i am reminded why i feel it's a-ok to consume animal/animal by products.* THE LITTLE SHITS INSIST ON RAIDING MY PANTRY. several days worth of food. poof! in the trash.
grrr. i say. grrrr.

in other news, i will once again be attending the vagina monologues (www.vday.org**.) because, i have, apparently, decided to see it every year now. so, why stop?
i swear, nyu better pull it off on friday better than columbia's production last year. that one so did not work for me.

and, in still more news. i started my "floater" position tonight. i forgot what it was like to work with people who don't still act like they're still in high school.

v-day brooklyn college

i'm the prez of the v-day committee at brooklyn college. we're putting on productions march 4th and 6th and i believe the tix are going for $5-$7. not sure about that yet. but every year we've done it we've gotten such a great response and this year we have a really nice space in the conservatory with lighting, etc. something we've never had before. but we always have a strong cast. i like the director we have this year. i think she's doing a great job. if you're interested in knowing, the proceeds will go to Park Slope Safe Homes for Battered Women and Children.

also, we always sell homemade chocolate vaginas. that's our big hit and we usually drum up a lot of profit.

i know bk college is doing it in march, for much much less money. however, i am only going to assist in a hook up.

maybe i can find an excuse to go to that one, too. chocolate vaginas sound like a good enough reason at this point.... just please tell me you're not doing an 80s music themed thing? i LOVE the 80s.... but it takes a special talent to pull it off right, without seeming like a bunch of middle schoolers prancing around.
