i have returned safe and sound.
and on another note, i did watch average joe. rather obsessively.
when it was on, i mean.
now, rumor has it ms. melana, has since left jason(pretty boy).... for..... you shoulda' guessed it.... zach (the asshole).
now, i have yet to confirm this. and im not sure i want to. apparently, it was in us or entertainment weekly or some such tripe.
it's totally killing my feminist cells here. if this is true. sure, she's got the right to her choices. i know that. i do. i even guess that i accept that she does have the right to make stupid choices. < / dramatic sigh >.
no, really. she does.
and i could create stories, because i'm very good at creating stories in a matter of milliseconds to give people entire life backgrounds. maybe she grew up in an abusive household and she has yet to learn to break out of the cycle of degrading (she left adam AFTER the show aired. how could she not see zach zay that he didnt join to get the girl's heart, but to get the girl. (yes, i paraphrased. and just used parenthesis inside parenthesis to do so. deal with it.) it's all about power. posseseion. with the guy, from what nbc showed us.) maybe nbc conspired against the poor guy. maybe she thinks she can change him. maybe she's just doing the guy/"slut" (same thing, really) thing and playing the field.
i'll stick with that last option.
though, why i should and more pointedly, why i care so much, is beyond me.
but anyway, and i thought my tendency to stray towards the shitheads was stupid enough. but it's never like i'm going for anything serious, anyway. and, besides, i'm mostly trying to break out of such habits.
