as of sunday (past),i 've been here exactly 1 year.

where does that time go? in august/september, i'll have been working for THE ORGANIZATION for a year as well. theres so much i havent done. so much i have.

i was looking at pictures from my graduations and some of my memories are so good. and some of them are nonexistant. it's funny.

the ennui has been really horrid as of late. i need to bring in some tunage to help redirect myself. it works. usually.
the dollar-bill-OCD is also really flaring up. i got half way though a stack of bills before i realized what i was doing.
by then, of course, i HAD to finish. i had no choice.

im kinda' lame.

while perusing the magazines at barnes and noble, i read bits of ms, and came up with this quote.

"Naturally the common people don’t want war, but after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag people along whether it is a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to do the bidding of the leaders. This is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country."

Summer 03 MS
