May. 30th, 2003 12:30 pmi've been chilling in the fratneral twin cities.
running amok, if you will.
actually, more like walking amok. but these details are only minor.
they're a great place to visit.
even if i still have yet to make it to any serious tourist sites. except the Damn mall, which doesn't really count as a Serious site either.
but it's been mostly good to be back.
i still get surprised, even though i shouldn't, when people/'s actions don't surprise me.
returning tends to reinforce that. even though returning doesn't have to. since even without returning, it still happens.
i don't even know if i'd prefer just not knowing how to predict so well.
decisions never have been my forte.

Date: 2003-05-31 10:52 am (UTC)i've been there on more than one occasion. passed by it a gazillion times over this week and opted against it because i never found them to be all that.
they're good. but i'm not enough of a thai-food connoisseur maybe to appreciate.
now, if it's fried rice or congee you're talking. hong kong noodles all the way.
even if they did completely screw up their fried bread.

Date: 2003-06-16 04:06 pm (UTC)TWO things:
ONE. The best Thai food is definitely London. Freakin brown people everywhere -- the Indian & Thai food capital of the world!! So get it straight.
TWO. I'm so glad said infidel number one (who scribbles the main entries of this never-ending pad of confusion) uses (w) merely as a RIDE while in the TC. Not a call. Not to mention one had replaced old number with new -- and still. I waited. No call.
*huff*

Date: 2003-06-17 10:21 am (UTC)like hell i never told you about the new number. i gave it to you. it's not my fault if you were in too enhanced of a state to recall/record/remember it.
and i did try calling once. but got the voicemail. and then i was apartment hunting and lazy.
you could come here. i'll buy you a krispy kreme.
