rktso, yes, ladies and gents, i survived the blackout of '03 ,
at work for 24 + hours. working. yes, a good time was had by all.
returned home to no electricity. but have it now.
i need another nap.
what can i say? i'm a magnet for dramatics.
though, of it all, it was splendiferous being on the roof of a 13-story building and watching the stars come out. stars. i'd been missing them.
contrary to popular reports, life did not end. but it's not like other places don't deal with this shite on a regular basis.
it was interesting listiening to the news with the Same newsbytes Over and Over and Over again.
i blame the Canadian terrorists for everything.
