Dear LJ-

I am disappointed in the lot of you. (Some of you more than others....)

Estelle Getty of Golden Girls fame died yesterday and i had to find out from a coworker.

Some folks die and i cannot blink without seeing the lj-news. Other people cease to exist....there is no mention.

I'm just saying.

I was really sad, but in my defense...
a) I was at work and thus not posting to LJ. Unlike now. Now i'm on lunch, but it happened after lunch.
b) after work I was really tired - I don't get internets in my room these days, so my one post was about not being able to sleep...

She seemed so much older than she was. Or perhaps maybe I just always thought of the Golden Girls as being much older than they actually were. I always thought they were in their sixties on the show, which would make her in her eighties on the show, but since the show was like 20 years ago, she was only in her sixties. Did she play someone a lot older? Or am I totally off about how old they were in the show?
