rkti'm feeling whiney.
in the event of a transit strike, my commute to work will be:
1) get a car service car to pick up my ass/walk to the car service and await a ride to the commuter train station to board an over-crowded train full of cranky folks.
2) transfer at the commuter train station for another commuter train because one quick shot to the city would be FAR TOO EASY.
3) walk from the station to my job (probably the easiest of the three).
in the event of a transit strike i will
1) have no option of calling out sick, unless i have a doctor's note. my doctor is around the corner from the damn job.
2) cancel my friday night happy hour plans.
3) cancel my trip on the yarn bus (on sunday).
4) be x-tra cranky.
ok. enough of the self-pity. predictably, i'm going to mostly side with the union on this one.
enjoy the slow-down while it lasts.
(also, nyc-ers know the secrets of the dollar vans?)
