rktit seems as though there are fates that are trying to thinify me.
i've been salivating for the past 11 months for a mc donald's shamrock shake. the promise of these unnatural, chemical ridden green concoctions are what has kept me going some days. st. patrick's day is fast approaching, practically 2 weeks away and all i get when i ask after them are a blank stare and a "what?".
the fuckin managers dont even know what i'm talking about half the time.
those who do, still don't know when they're going to start serving them.
so, i've resigned myself to stalking the unfriendly neighborhood mc donaldses. and decided for today, i'd go for a vanilla to pacify my desire.
but neither of the 2 mc donald's near my job could help me out.
how do 2 (TWO) restaurants run out of vanilila shake substance at the same time?
but, fine, i figure, i'll survive. because today (sunday) is fried apple pie day anyway. hot steamy fried applie "turnover" delivered straight to my desk (along with chicken wings and curly fries, but those are secondary). my wings come. my fries come. but does my pie come?
no.
i call back. they say they'll send it out.
it still never comes.
so, i now supposedly have a credit for 1 apple pie the next time i call. which, most likely, won't be for another week.
so my sweet tooth goes quite unfulfilled.
my desires left with nothing buy promises.
i really need more of a life, don't i?

but i'd miss the desire for the green one.
so i'm just never going to try raw syrup.
and that's the moral of today.
(in case you missed it: don't consume raw shamrock syrup. . .
pure raw maple syrup is more than okay, however.)
