[Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.
(To do this, go to "notes" under tabs on your profile page, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 (or some other number of) people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish.)]
You are all tagged.
1. Facebook confounds me. (They don't even consider "facebook" a word.)
2. I still keep coming back anyway. I'm sure they have a word for that.
3. I have latent non-asthma related breathing issues.
4. They become more apparent when I try to swim.
5. I say "try" because I am engaged in lessons. Never mind the tot-class before me has members who can outperform me.
6. My sleep habits are also not the greatest. This is in part also because of the breathing thing. I think.
7. Of all my employment experiences, my stint at the library easily did the most damage to my lungs.
8. I may not be the biggest fan of foster care, but I like my current job (and my coworkers, and the teens).
9. Seeing as how I just had 2 days of team-building/training earlier this week, I really don't think this should be so hard.
10. If I could go on an ideal vacation, I would probably end up going by myself somewhere new.
11. I've been to Austria, China, Hungary, Italy, and Puerto Rico ~ before I turned 19.
12. Since then, the most international I've been is Canada.
13. Which I went to in an attempt to re-discover winter since New York just wasn't giving it to me.
14. Which we did. There was even a winter carnival around the corner from the hotel.
15. I've been known to make it snow by snapping my fingers. More than once.
16. I've been to 37 states, but very few of those west of the Mississippi.
17. I've known forever that New York was my home.
18. This is despite the facts I do not enjoy people, noise, cars, traffic, bright lights, capitalism, tall (sterile) glassy buildings, or pollution.
19. I have a condition that leaves the potential for my skin to grow (benign) growths/tumours all over my body. Having inherited this from my father, my concepts of beauty were definitely affected.
20. If you want company while you try a new food, I am your man. I will try anything that doesn't/won't kill me at least twice.
21. I went with my MSW program because I hope it best fits me to someday have my own program where I can play boss but still work direct service.
22. I voted Libertarian in the 1996 and 2000 Presidential Elections. (I just couldn't bring myself to vote for Ralph Nader....)
23. I am afraid Obama will make me cry. (Even though I realize he has to play the politics game not just to keep himself in office, but to keep a Dem congressional majority, too.)
24. I'm still eschewing the "feminist" label.
25. My living room is haunted. I'm not sure if it's a ghost cat, or not. But whatever it is really likes to mess with electronics. Lately, it was randomly turning on the stereo and playing the Miles Davis cd (until I unplugged the device).
